Where It Started

CF4J was born out of a personal tragedy that transformed into a mission for justice. Our founder, Crystal Heath-Stephenson, experienced the unimaginable loss of her son, Edwin J Heath, Sr., who was brutally murdered in front of his two children on May 13, 2015. Despite the passage of time, Edwin’s case remains unsolved.

This painful journey led Crystal to establish CF4J, turning her grief into a powerful force for change. Today, CF4J stands as a testament to Edwin’s memory and a beacon of hope for other families experiencing similar tragedies. We are dedicated to connecting families, raising awareness about unsolved cases, motivating communities to take action, and empowering individuals to seek justice.

Through our work, we strive to ensure that no family has to endure the pain of losing a loved one to violence without the hope of justice.
